Waterloo is a city in southern Ontario, Canada. It is the smallest of the three towns in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo (and formerly in Waterloo County, Ontario), and is adjacent to the city of Kitchener.
Waterloo has a humid continental climate of the subtype of warm summer, this means that there are large seasonal differences, usually very warm to warm (and humid) summers and cold (to very cold) winters. Compared to the rest of Canada, it has a moderate climate. Winter temperatures generally last from mid-December to mid-March, while summer temperatures generally occur between mid-May and late September.
