Located on the outskirts of Wichita, the largest city in the state of Kansas, this open-air museum is one of the few Highlights in this otherwise uninteresting city.

In short, if you see a small town from the time of the Wild West, you might have seen early Wichita itself around 1870: Saloon, Sheriff’s office, blacksmith, etc.the buildings are well preserved and sufficiently explained. One should visit the Museum if possible, if the very active museum association with actors gives life to the scenes and there among other things shooting, a Rodeo etc., then one spends there an entertaining day.
