The history of the Joyland Amusement Park began already in the late 1940s under the name of Mackenzie Park Playground, as more and more people settled in the area of West Texas. Today, the second-Generation Joyland Amusement Park, run by the Dean family, offers its visitors more than 30 attractions and rides.
