Where is Haiphong Located?

Haiphong is the third largest city in Vietnam after Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi with about 2 million inhabitants. It is located about 100 km southeast of Hanoi on the banks of the Song Cam River and has an important port, which makes the city an important industrial location. Many tourists use the city as a starting point for trips to Halong Bay or Cat Ba island. But Haiphong, the city of red flowers, is itself worth a visit and should not be underestimated.
