As one of the most important botanical gardens and sculpture parks in the United States, Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park welcomes more than half a Million visitors each year. Located halfway between Chicago and Detroit in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this vibrant cultural organization is among the most outstanding in the country. Her internationally acclaimed permanent collection includes masterpieces from Auguste Rodin to Henry Moore, from Alexander Calder to Claes Oldenburg, from Magdalena Abakanowicz to Louise Bourgeois, from David Nash to Jaume Plensa. Sculptures are presented on the entire site, but the largest density of works can be found in the fourteen-hectare Sculpture Park.

In addition, the Meijer Gardens organise a series of high-profile exhibitions each year in galleries specially created for the presentation of sculptures. Most recently, works by artists such as Mark di Suvero, Edgar Degas, Jonathan Borofsky and Andy Goldsworthy have been exhibited there. This year, exhibitions of works by Alexander Calder (June-September), Lynn Chadwick and Henry Moore (October-January) and a retrospective of works by Michele Oka Doner (January-May) are planned.
