The Pittsburgh Zoo is home to hundreds of animals representing more than 400 species, including 22 threatened animal species. Divided into different enclosures, which are designed according to the species, visitors can see species of the same habitat here. In the enclosure “Asian Forest” you get for example the possibility to see Amur leopards, tigers, Flamingos and snow leopards up close. In the “African Savanna”, on the other hand, the big African elephants and Lions, the Masai giraffes and of course the alligators impress.
