Ngaoundéré (English: Ngaundere) is a city in northern Cameroon, located on the edge of the highlands of Adamaua and capital of the Adamaoua Region.
It has a population of 231,376 (as of 1 January 2005). The town is the seat of a tribe Prince (laamiido) of Fulbe and has a significance as an agricultural trade center, seat of a University of agricultural culture and technology with around 7,000 students and location of jewelry production.
