Where is Masina Located?

Huge Slums have formed on the edges of the city. They have been built by refugees since the civil wars in the Congo. The misery districts are so huge that you are on your way from the airport to the city 20 km only through Slums. About two million people live in the giant Masina.

There is only one street, the Boulevard Lumumba, lined with small stalls and selling sites. At night there is no street lighting, only gas Sparks and small fire burning. Transportation means are old VW buses that carry 20 or 30 people.
