Where is Koh Mak Located?

Koh Mak is located Thailand. Koh Mak (also Ko Maak) is a pure natural island and in places densely overgrown with rainforest. The island has beautiful sandy beaches and bays, little traffic and only a few shops. The two main beaches Ao Suan Yai and Ao Khao White Sand Beach (also just Ao Khao Beach) are located in the Northwest and southwest of Koh Mak respectively. This is also where most of the Resorts *are located.

What Country is Koh Mak in?

Koh Mak is an island far away from mass tourism and attracts mainly nature lovers, peace seekers, divers, snorkelers and honeymooners. Apart from swimming, sunbathing, diving, snorkelling and kayaking, there is little to do on the island.

Koh Mak is located between Koh Chang and Koh Kood. The distance from the South coast of Koh Chang is around 12 kilometers, to the North coast of Koh Kood is approximately 17 kilometres and the mainland of Trat 35 kilometers. Koh Mak is a relatively small island with a total area of just 16 square kilometres.
