Where is Hue Located?

The city of Hue is located in the middle of Vietnam and was the former Imperial city. Thus, it gained importance at the Huong Giang River early on. During the Nguyen Dynasty between the 17th and 19th centuries, it was the capital of the Empire. It was only when Ho Chi Minh declared independence in Hanoi in 1945 that it lost this function. But even today, the city has not lost its importance. In the city of about 350,000 inhabitants you can immerse yourself in the world of the Empire. Some sights give a good impression of the splendour of the epoch and the former magnificent appearance of Hue.
