Where is Hendry Winery?

Located in the southwest of Napa Valley at the foot of the Mayacamas Mountains, between the growing areas of Carneros and Mount Veeder, the approximately 45 ha vineyard of nuclear physicist and perfectionist George Hendry is meticulously divided into individual plots (Blocks).

Block 7 and Block 28 have long been among the quality guarantors for exceptionally nuanced, deep, large Zinfandel. (Block 7 was also the source for Rosenblum’s fabulous “Hendry Vineyard Reserve” bottling of the nineties.) George Hendry’s own version of the Block 7 Zinfandel with its perfect variety type and its profound Block 28 Zinfandel (94 points in the CONNEUSSEURS‘ GUIDE!) are for us the best successful Zinfandels of a Napa Valley winery from Napa Valley vineyards.
