For the most important road to Furnace Creek you need a whole day, visiting Scotty’s Castle requires a ½ day.
The CA 190 crosses the Park. Other tarred roads are Badwater Road, Scotty’s Casle Road, and roads to Dante’s View and Wild Rose. Numerous Viewpoints. More than 560 km of trails are unpaved (often only for all-wheel drive vehicles).
Basically, there are more than 1,000 possibilities for hiking. The orientation is difficult. Guided hikes take place from November to March.
Interesting is the visit of Scotty’s Castle, a castle replica in the middle of the desert.
