The” last major ski town in Colorado”, Crested Butte, is located in southwestern Colorado in the Gunnison National Forest and the Elk Mountain Range. The Resort is located just above the town of Crested Butte and is home to Colorado’s first X-Games, the US Freeskiing Championships and various other extreme skiing and board competitions.

Skiers and boarders find various terrain difficulties, about a quarter of the slopes are for beginners, half for advanced skiers and almost 20 percent for professionals. Crested Butte is known for its extensive Terrain, incredibly many and challenging variant descents and an average of seven meters of snow in one season. The lifts lead directly from the village up to 3700 meters altitude, 15 facilities open up about 120 slopes. Of course, several fun parks and a Superpipe are not missing in the offer.
