Where is Chiclayo Located?

Chiclayo is the city with the many names: city of friendship, the heroic city or pearl of the north it is also called. With almost one million inhabitants, it is one of the largest conurbations in northern Peru and even has its own airport. Some visitors even claimed that Chiclayo would be the “better Lima”, because it is not so crowded or so large that you have to spend the whole day on public transport to and still and lively enough, even in the evening, a lot of lively companies.

What Country is Chiclayo in?

The heart of Chiclayo is about 20 kilometers away from the South Pacific, in addition to numerous archaeological treasures in the area – among others, with 4000 years the oldest murals that have been discovered today on both American continents.
