Where is Chengdu Located?

Chengdu is located on the edge of the fertile plains of the “Red basin” in the Chinese province of Sichuan. Because of its agricultural wealth, the region around Chengdu is sometimes called” the land of milk and honey”.

Despite its 14 million inhabitants, Chengdu has a reputation for being a very “relaxed” city where culture and relaxation are emphasized. Chengdu has become one of the most livable megacities in China due to the many green spaces in the metropolis and the more leisurely pace of the people.
