Where is Ashdod Located?

Ashdod South of Tel Aviv on the Mediterranean sea. The city, which is today one of the largest in Israel, was founded only in 1956. According to the master plan for the development of Israel, Ashdod has been developed as a port and industrial location.

Despite the long and beautiful beach and the ideal location not far from Tel Aviv, the Tourist Development has been a long time coming. Ashdod is now advertising tourists with the Slogan “the golden beaches of Israel” – “the golden beaches of Israel”, for which a first-class Hotel will be available from the summer of 2010.
