Where is Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum Located

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum was founded in 1952 and has since developed into a leisure facility known far beyond the state.

It is an interesting place where a large Zoo, a botanical garden and a Natural History Museum are connected. On the museum grounds, visitors can get to know more than 300 different animal species and more than 1,200 different plants – and in some cases up close. The animals, plants, minerals and fossils shown at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum are all native to the Sonora Desert, which extends in parts of Mexico and the state of Arizona and gave the Museum its name.
