Flag of Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea is a state of Oceania, bounded by the Pacific Ocean and the Coral Sea, which mainly occupies the eastern part of the island of New Guinea, the western part of which belongs to Indonesia, and the Bismarck Islands.

The total area of the country is 462,840 km2 and its population was 6.31 million in 2012.
