Flag of Liechtenstein

The Principality of Liechtenstein is a sovereign state of Europe, located between Switzerland and Vorarlberg (Austrian Tyrol), to the right of the Rhine; 160 km2; 33,987 inhabitants (East. July 2006).

It was until the dissolution of the smallest German Confederation of the German states and became independent on July 12, 1806.
