Flag of Mongolia

Mongolia is a central Asian state, landlocked between China and Russia. It corresponds, from a geographical point of view, to Outer Mongolia; Inner Mongolia belongs to China. With an area of 1,564,116 km2 and a population of 3,18 million, the country is divided administratively into 21 provinces (aymguud) and a municipality (hot), the capital Ulaanbaatar).
