Flag of Pakistan

Pakistan is a state in Southern Asia bordering the Arabian Sea (northern Indian Ocean) and includes Iran and Afghanistan in the West, India in the East and China in the North.

Independent from British India since 1947 and separated from Bangladesh (formerly East Pakistan) since 1971, it is a Federal Republic, Divided administratively into 4 provinces (Baluchistan, North-West Frontier Province, Punjab, and Sind), a territory placed directly under the federal administration, the tribal areas, and a territory for the capital, Islamabad.
