Hawaii (Hawaii; Hawaiian, Hawaii). It is a state of the United States of America.

Its territory is formed by a Polynesian archipelago of the same name, located in the North Pacific Ocean and composed of eight main islands: Oahu, Hawaii (better known as Big Island), Maui, Kaua’i, Lana’i, Moloka’i, Kaho’olawe and Ni’ihau. It was formerly known as the Sandwich Islands. Hawaii is the only American state not found on the American continent.
