Flag of China

China is a state of East Asia. In the East and South-East, it is bordered by the Pacific Ocean (Yellow Sea or Huang Hai, East China Sea or Dong Hai,

and South China Sea or Nan Hai) and has a border with North Korea; in the North-East it borders Russia and Mongolia; in the North-West and West it shares borders with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan (Wakhan) and Pakistan.; in the South, it is bounded by India, Nepal and Bhuthan, along the Himalayas, and further east by Burma, Laos and Vietnam.
