Cambodia, area: 181,040 km2, population: 14.5 million (2009). is a state of South-East Asia, in the Indochinese peninsula.

Its length is 500 km from North-East to South-West and its largest is about 225 km. The country is a constitutional monarchy, divided administratively into 20 provinces (khaitt) and 4 municipalities (krong). the capital city est to Phnom Penh. Other major cities: Battambang, Kompong Chhnang, Kompong Cham, etc.
