Where is Kulob Located?

The Tomb of the Persian mystic Mir Sayyed Ali Hamadani in Kulob. Kulob is the largest city in Tajikistan’s southernmost Khatlon region, where Tajikistan’s Civil War also began in the 1990s.

Today, however, the fate of Kulob has changed, as it is the hometown of President Emomali Rachmon and thus has been blessed with various magnificent buildings and larger events visited by the head of State.
