The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center in Hutchinson is considered one of the most interesting space exhibitions in the United States. In addition to the exhibition of a number of American and Russian space objects, there is a large IMAX cinema and a Planetarium. With more than 150,000 visitors annually, the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, opened in 1962, is also one of the most visited destinations in Kansas.
