Where is Abomey Located?

In the Benin city of Abomey, the unique historical complex – the beautiful Royal palaces, the kings are a reminder of the times of the government of Dahomey-is located.

The complex consists of 12 palaces, with whose construction history is associated with an interesting cultural Tradition. After every change of the ruler, a new palace was built next to the old one. The huge complex was included in the list of UNESCO world heritage in 1985.
