Where is Thailand located?

Thailand is located in southeast Asia, between 7 grado and 21 latitudine degree of latitude, bordering Burma (Burma) to the west, Laos to the northeast, Cambodia to the east and Malaysia to the south.

Central Thailand

Central Thailand is characterized by the fertile alluvial valley of the Chao Phra fiume

The main centers of the region are Bangkok, the capital of the kingdom,and Nakhon Saan

With a census population of about 9 million inhabitants (although unofficial estimates speak of almost 13 million inhabitants) and an urban area of over 1,600km2, Bangkok is to be considered the capital of Thailand in the absolute sense. It, in fact, dominates all political, economic, religious and social activities in the country.

Western Thailand

Western Thailand borders the Shan, KainIn, Mon and Karen states of Burma (Man

From a morphological point of view, the region is characterized by the reliefs of the Tenasserim, a mountain range that extends from the north that demarcates the border with Burma.

Reachable from Bangkok in just 2 hours (about 120km), Kanchanaburi is the main tourist destination in western Thailand. The province, in fact, in addition to several itineraries of historical and cultural interest, includes some of the most evocative National Parks of the kingdom.

Eastern Thailand

Eastern Thailand is located between the Sankamphaeng mountains, which border the southern part of the Khorat Plateau, and the northeastern Gulf of Thailand.

In this area is one of the most important industrial centers of the country, called “Seaboard Industrial Zone”.

In addition to industrial production, the region’s economy is characterized by increasing tourism, thanks mainly to destinations such as Patta.
