Is Eritrea in Africa or Asia?

Eritrea is part of the Horn Of Africa region. The country is bordered to the north and northwest by Sudan, to the south by Ethiopia and D. The Red Sea bathes the coasts of the north and northeast.

The area of the country is 117,400 km2, divided into three areas: the coast, mostly flat and desert; the central area, mountainous and fertile and the western area, flat. The heart of the country consists of a high plateau, known as the Ethiopian Acrocoro, which occupies about half of the territory presenting an average altitude of almost 2000 meters. In the northern part of the plateau, called Rift Valle Vall.

The territorial diversity, in addition to determining a different climate in each area of the country, also constitutes the ideal context for a thriving fauna and flora. The climate is temperate in mountainous areas and warm in the low planes. The wettest months are those ranging from June to September but frequent rains can also occur between February and March.
