Is Bahrain part of Asia or Africa?

The Kingdom of Bahrain is an archipelago of 33 islands that are located in the Persian Gulf, off the northern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Although Shiites make up the majority of the population, the country’s 1.5 million inhabitants have a very diverse ethnic and religious background. The official language is Arabic and the country gained independence in 1971 and became a constitutional monarchy in 2002.

Like the other countries in the Gulf Region, Bahrain has very close relations with Italy, quantifiable at about $ 590 million in 2021.
