Maseru. It is the capital of Lesotho and the District of the same name. It is located in the north-western part of the country, on the banks of the Caledon River, very close to the border with South Africa the population according to 2010 estimate is 253,874 inhabitants. This city is the seat of the Agricultural University of Lesotho (1955).
