Flag of Tanzania

Tanzania is a country in Eastern Africa. With a population of 43.6 million (2012) and an area of 885.800 km2, the country borders the Indian Ocean and is bathed by the waters of Lakes Victoria, Tanganyika and Nyassa. It borders Uganda, Kenya, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Burundi and Rwanda.
