Flag of Netherlands

Holland, in Dutch Holland, is a region of the Netherlands, of which it is today two provinces, situated between the North Sea and Zuiderzee to the North.

The provinces of Geldre and Utrecht and Zuiderzee to the East, the provinces of Zeeland and North Brabant to the South, and the North Sea to the West. It is watered by the Meuse and the Rhine.
