Equatorial Guinea is a country in Equatorial Africa, bordering the Atlantic Ocean (Bay of Biafra) and bordering Cameroon and Gabon. The area is 28,000 km2.
One part of the country is Continental and another is an island : the capital Malabo (156,000 inhabitants) is located on the island of Bioko (former Fernando Poo), off the coast of Cameroon. Other cities : Bata (173,000 inhabitants), Ebebiyin (25,000 inhabitants). Total Population: 686,000 (2012). Administratively, the Equatorial Guinea is divided into seven provinces (provincias) : Annobon, Bioko Norte, Bioko Sur, Centro Sur, Kie-Ntem, Litoral and Wele-Nzas.
