Is Barbados considered North or South America?
Island state of Central America, located in the Caribbean Sea.
Of coral formation, Barbados is the easternmost island of the Lesser Antilles archipelago. Its landscape, which almost completely lacks tropical vegetation, differentiates it from the other islands of the Archipelago: Barbados is in fact characterized by a green undulating and very fertile countryside (extensive sugar cane crops).
The climate is warm and moderately rainy; the average temperatures remain between 23 and 27 C C throughout the year and the rainfall (which has its maximum in September and the minimum in April) is just under 1500 mm per year. The island is located outside the path of tropical hurricanes.
