Zambia is a state in Southern Africa. It is landlocked between Angola, the democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia.

With a surface area of 752.618 km2, the country is populated by 14.31 million inhabitants (2012). Capital : Lusaka (1.3 million inhabitants). Other important cities : Kitwe (401,000 inhabitants), Ndola (395,000), Kabwe (189,000), Chingola (149,000).
