Where is Växjö Located?

Växjö is the second largest city in the province of Småland after Jönköping. Växjö is located in the Southern Inland of Småland. There are lakes everywhere. Even in the city center you can find cafes and Restaurants with lake views (e.g. on the Vattentorget). To do this, there is here an almost five-kilometre-long beach promenade to the lake Växjösjön. The Promenade is part of Växjö’s city park.

What Country is Växjö in?

Växjö is well-developed in terms of Tourism and has a helpful Tourist Information Office with a wealth of brochures. In this Region you can spend a whole summer holiday without leaving out the ideas. The glass Kingdom and Lake Åsnen are also within easy reach from Växjö.

Växjö is a residential and university town. The range of cafes, Pubs and Restaurants, is correspondingly large. We liked the “Kafé de Luxe” with outdoor terrace and Bar as well as the Pub “Bishops Arms” (with really good beer!).
