Who conquered Istanbul?

Istanbul was conquered by the Ottoman Emperor “Fatih Sultan Mehmet“. The Turkish Emperor “Fatih Sultan Mehmet” was born on March 30, 1432 and died on May 3, 1481. He was the seventh Sultan of the Ottoman Empire.

In historical sources, his name is mentioned in the form of Muhammad.First, a short period between 1444-46, then from 1451 to 1481, he stayed on the throne for 30 years.

Fatih Sultan Mehmet, 21 years old conquered Istanbul and ended the 1000-year-old Byzantine Empire. The end of the Middle Ages was accepted by many historians as the beginning of the New Age. After the conquest, the “Abu’l-Feth”, which means the father of the conquest, was later remembered by the Ottoman Turkish and later by the “ruler who opened the era” and “Kayseri-I rum” titles.
