Recognized as the # 1 Zoo in the U.S. by parents magazine (2009) and child magazine (2004), Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo features over 1,500 animals on nearly 60 acres of natural habitats.
Guests will find many interactive exhibits and ways to get closer to animals – feed a Giraffe , ride a horse, hold a lorikeet, touch a stingray and more. The Zoo-Manatis and Aquatic Center expands the traditional boundaries of a zoo, focusing efforts on intensive care for injured, sick and orphaned wild manatees. Also in the Zoo: splash groundwater playgrounds, game drives, educational Shows and Restaurants. Don’t miss a DinoQuest2 special exhibit featuring 22 life – size, faithful animatronic dinosaurs. DinoQuest is daily now-May 28, 2013 parking is free.
