Where is Wisconsin Concrete Park?

In the small village of Phillips is the Wisconsin Concrete Park. 237 sculptures and objects created by the retired lumberjack Fred Smith built between 1950 and 1964. The house, which now houses the Visitor Center and a small Museum with a Shop set up, used to be his house.

Before, I didn’t really know what to expect from this Park. But as strange as some things seem, it was so interesting to look at. In the end, I walk for more than half an hour between the sculptures and also read through the numerous descriptions. It is very interesting how a single man, who had not even learned to read and write, could do everything here.
