Located 120 kilometers from Queenstown, Wanaka is the gateway to Mount Aspiring National Park. On the shores of the lake and over a bay, the small town offers beautiful views of the mountains.

It is located on the shores of the lake that bears the same name. It is one of the few places in New Zealand that has a Mediterranean climate with four clearly differentiated seasons.

Although the small town had its origins in the mid-1800s, in the last ten years the population has grown by more than 50%. This has occurred mainly because Wanaka is a paradise for lovers of outdoor life and adventure sports.

All this in a place with a climate that reaches 30 degrees in the summer and, during the winter, offers some of the best ski resorts in the country.
