Where is Rayong Located?

The province of Rayong is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, the provincial capital about 180 km from Bangkok. Less developed than the Pattaya area, it combines an attractive, 100-km-long coast line, with beaches and offshore Islands, and a green, fertile country. The city of Rayong offers a few attractions, but the island of Koh Samet is the most sought-after destination, although the beaches along the mainland coast are gaining popularity.

In the south-east of the country, on the beautiful Gulf of Thailand, lies the province of Rayong, known for its beautiful landscapes as well as for the flourishing industry. The North is characterized by its hilly landscape, but the closer you get to the sea, the flatter the terrain becomes.
