Yesterday on the train I had talked to an Ami about going to Mammoth Cave. He told me that on the way there, in Bowling Green, there was a factory where the Corvette would be built.
Corvette? Isn’t that this car that used to look really good, but is now just a visually average sports car?
Why not look at a factory, I haven’t done that since Mercedes visited Tuscaloosa. Since I had booked tours in the Mammoth Cave at 1 pm and 4 PM, there was still time in the morning. Searched the Internet briefly and booked a Corvette Plant Tour, for $ 5.

Problem: Bowling Green was 105 miles west of Somerset where I spent the night. So I had to get up early. But that’s what I’ve been doing in the last few days anyway, I’m not here for fun.
At 6: 12 I left, it was still pitch dark, at 7: 37 I arrived. The factory was not to be missed, right on the Highway. On the way there were signs indicating the distance to the National Corvette Museum, which is right next to the factory. I hadn’t noticed that on the Internet.
