Where is Merino in Dublin?

Marino Institute of Education (MIE) is a teaching, learning and research community committed to promoting inclusion and excellence in education. We have a long and proud involvement in education, specifically initial teacher education (ITE), dating back over 100 years. Our partnership with Trinity began in 1976 when the first intake of lay students enrolled for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). In July 2011, this relationship was further strengthened with the formalization of an agreement placing MIE under the joint tutelage of the Congregation of the European Province of Christian Brothers and Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin.
