Where is Main Street?

We see Main Street in downtown Houston between Preston Street on the left and Congress Street on the right. Just behind this Block is Market Square in the historic District of the largest Texas city. At the same time, historic buildings, especially as a complete Front of a block, are the exception in the Hosutson urban area. Houston’s Downtown is characterized by its Skyline with a whole series of skyscrapers. 13 of the 20 tallest Texas skyscrapers are in Houston.

Some of the buildings still bear their historical names, such as the Arnold, Stuart and Sterne buildings in the right half of the picture.
