Where is Kailua Beach Park?
Kailua Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on Oahu with its fine Sand, azure waters and pine trees. On the weekends it is usually well attended. Many families come here for picnics, kayaking, surfing, windsurfing and swimming. The flat island you can see from here is Flat Island, which you can easily reach by Kayak. A little further south are two more Islands, Moku Nui and Moku Iki, also called the Mokulua Islands.
The waves here are mostly flat, so the conditions are good for swimming. Since the beach is located on the east coast of the islands, the Wind blows here usually stronger than in Waikiki on the south coast (the Wind usually comes from the East). This sometimes makes it a bit fresh on the beach.
