Where is Garvan Woodland Gardens?

The Garvan Woodland Gardens were created in the mid-1950s by Verna Cook Garvan. The plants on display in the gardens today include more than 2,000 azaleas from more than 160 species as well as about 300 varieties of flowering perennials and ground cover plants.

In addition, the Garvan Woodland Gardens are known for their numerous sculptures and buildings, which are excellent photo opportunities. Highlights include the Anthony Chapel, which knows how to impress with its architecture of wood, glass and stone, and the Verna Cook Garvan Pavilion. For children, a visit to the Evans Children’s Adventure Garden is also worthwhile, where you can learn a lot about nature in a playful way.
