Nestled in 34 acres of Duke Forest, The Duke Lemur Center is the world’s largest protected area for rare and endangered semi-monkeys. It is home to more than 250 lemurs, Bush babies and lorises. In addition, the educational facility is the only University institution, who devote their work to the study of prosimians.
