Lake Como also known as Lario is considered to be the most beautiful lake in the upper Italian Lakes . Lake Como is part of the Lombardy Region and is located about 50 km north of Milan. Lake Como (Swiss spelling) is the third largest lake in the three great, next to Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore. Lake Como is a partly fjord-like Lake in the Form of an inverted Y and is surrounded in the north by mountains up to almost 3,000 m high.
