Where is Central Park Zoo Located

Located in the heart of Central Park – the green lung of New York – the two-hectare Central Park Zoo offers its visitors more than 3,000 animals from 130 species. The main focus of the zoo opened in 1934 and renovated in 1988 are the two thematic areas Polar Zone and Tropical Zone. The Central Park Zoo is now part of the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), which is responsible for the four Zoos and an Aquarium in New York City.
